Steep south-facing slopes above Bozen with skeletal soils of quartz and porphyry at 550 meters above sea level.

Management

Close to nature, a lot of manual work, and very little use of machines due to the extremely steep slopes.


Vinification

Maceration in stainless steel tanks, followed by aging in old barrique barrels.


Characteristics

Exciting drinking experience with full-bodied taste and characteristic scent of violets, bitter almonds, and cherries.


Food recommendations

Suitable with cold cuts, meat dishes, pizza, and for enjoying wine in between meals.
