Management

Close to nature, a lot of manual work, and very little use of machines due to the extremely steep slopes.


Vinification

 Vernatsch: maceration fermentation in stainless steel tanks

Merlot: maceration fermentation with partially dried berries

 Blending of both wines after the first separation, followed by aging in old oak barrels,   remaining on the fine lees for several months.


Characteristics

Full-bodied and well-balanced taste with soft notes of forest fruits, black berries, bitter almonds, and cherries. It is characterized by its richness and long finish.


Food recommendations

Suitable for game dishes as well as dark meat and hard cheese
