Steep south-facing slopes above Bozen with skeletal soils of quartz and porphyry at 550 meters above sea level.


Training system

Treillage with 8,000 vines/ha

Management

Close to nature, a lot of manual work, and very little use of machines due to the extremely steep slopes.


Vinification

Several hours of cold maceration, soft pressing, 30% fermentation on the skins, aging in old barrels


Characteristics

Intense floral and exotic aromatic experience; fragrance of roses, lilies, passion fruit, cloves and nutmeg.


Food recommendations

It goes well with fish hors d'oeuvres, Asian cuisine, aged cheeses, but also makes an excellent aperitif or dessert wine.
